Classic BLT Sandwich


A near-perfect balance of sweet, smoky, crusty, and salty, the BLT is what food dreams are made of. If only it were healthy to eat bacon and mayo on a daily basis.


1⁄2 lb bacon (approx. 12 slices)

8 leaves iceberg lettuce, fresh and full

8 slices white bread

8 tablespoons Hellmann’s mayonnaise

8 slices of ripened tomatoes


Step One. Cook bacon until crispy, then drain on paper towels.

Step Two. Toast the 8 slices of bread.

Step Three. After that you need to spread 1 tablespoon mayo on each slice of toasted bread. (More or less, to taste).

Step four. Now add 1 slice of lettuce to 4 pieces of mayo-spreaded toast.

Step Five. After that you need to add 2 slices of tomato on top of lettuce.

Step Six. Now you need to arrange 3 slices of bacon evenly on top of tomato. (Break bacon slices in half to fit, if needed).

Step Seven. After that add 1 slice of lettuce on top of bacon.

Step Eight. To finish the sandwiches put the remaining 4 pieces of mayo-spreaded toast on top .

Step Nine. Enjoy….
