How To Make Scones

Scones are the easiest English teatime treat. There’s scope to customize these sweet ones with dried fruit or cinnamon. This recipe for the best scones is one that you always should have on hand.



  • Butter 1 oz
  • Milk 3/4
  • Self raising flour 2 Cups
  • Salt pinch
  • Sugar teaspoon
  • 1 egg
  • Spoon
  • Knife
  • Bowl
  • Microwaveable bowl
  • Oven
  • Tray
  • Cutter
  • Toppings


Step One : On and set your oven on 210*c

Step Two : Melt the 1 oz of butter in your microwavable bowl.

Step Three : Add the pinch of salt, 1egg and the teaspoon of sugar and mix.

Step Four : Gradually add the 2 cups of flour and the milk just leave a little bit of milk for the end.

Step Five : If it starts to get sticky add a little bit of milk not a lot though or flour.

Step Six : Place your scone dough on a floured space ready to be flattened a little.

Step Seven : Start to use your cutter on one spot cut it down then lift the cutter up and put the scone on the tray keep repeating that all the way round and when you put them on the tray keep them touching.

Step Eight : With the extra milk get 2 fingers and dip it in and dab once on the top and do that for all.

Step Nine : Then place in the oven for 8-10 min.

Step Ten : There you go your delicious scones YUM!!! Like a donut.
