This recipe is so easy, I just throw all ingredients in a bowl. I don’t even sift the flour and it works perfectly every time. So, let’s know how can you don it.
- 250g unsweetened desiccated coconut • medium bowel
- 220g caster sugar
- 100g butter, melted and cooled
- 2 medium eggs, lightly beaten
- 150g good quality dark chocolate, chopped
Step 1. Quickly preheat oven to exactly 180 degrees Celsius.
Step 2. Make sure the oven isn’t too hot.
Step 3. Carefully line a shallow tray with a large sheet of baking paper (be aware that you need to cut in the corners so that the baking paper can sit comfortably in the tray.)
Step 4. Accurately (in a large bowl) weigh sugar and coconut then mix until well combined. Then gradually pour butter in as well as the beaten eggs. At that point, mix until it looks edible.
Step 5. Gently pour all mixture into the prepared tray, spread it out, then flatten into corners.
Step 6. Casually slide the tray into the oven. Set a timer for 20minutes, then anxiously wait for the timer to go BING!
Step 7. If your slice is crispy on the top, it is now ready to take out of the oven and cool down.
Step 8. When your slice has cooled down, ENJOY!!!
