• Aadi Saikumar is the grandson of P J Sarma, who was renowned for his acting and scriptwriting works in Telugu cinema.

• Aadi did his schooling till 7th class in Chennai and then shifted to Hyderabad, Telangana.

• Since childhood, Aadi has been a brilliant student and has excelled in studies and cultural activities. He was also inclined towards acting.

• In an interview, Aadi revealed his father wanted him to become a cricketer, as he was a good all-rounder in cricket.

• He once said megastar Chiranjeevi, ignited his desire to become an actor. During his college festival, he performed in front of Chiranjeevi. Aadi’s dancing skills impressed him. So he asked Aadi’s father to let him continue his acting career.

• Aadi was selected for the under-19 Ranji Cricket Team (2005). He played under the captaincy of Ambati Rayudu, and Pragyan Ojha. But later, he left cricket and started focussing on his acting skills.

• Once in an interview, Aadi mentioned his father gave him acting tips, but he did not influence him for acting. He has his own acting style. He wants people to know him by his acting skills in the industry, not by the name of his father.

• He once said he was quite comfortable in doing love and emotional scenes.

• Aadi Saikumar’s debut film Prema Kavali (2011) was a big hit at the box office and played for 100 days in movie theatres. The film was also re-released in October 2024.

• He said that after playing lover-boy roles in multiple films, he is gearing up for an intense thriller role in his upcoming film, Shambala (2025).

• Aadi Saikumar did all his films in the Telugu language. His upcoming film Jungle (2025) is a Tamil- Telugu bilingual.

• Aadi Saikumar is a very devotional person, he used to visit Tirupathi Balaji. He goes seven hills on foot and breaks 100 coconuts before and after the release of his films.
