- Amad was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, but arrived in Italy when he was 8 years old.
- Amad began his youth career at Boca Barco’s youth team in September 2014. He was officially registered with the club on January 14, 2015.
- Amad signed for the club Atalanta in 2015. He helped Atalanta win the Campionato Primavera 1 title for two consecutive seasons, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
- On 27 October 2019, Amad made his Serie A debut against Udinese. He came as a substitute in the 79th minute and four minutes later scored his first goal for the club in a 7–1 home win.
- Amad debuted in the UEFA Champions League on 1 December 2020 against Midtjylland in a 1–1 home draw; he came as a substitute in the match in the 68th minute.
