• Amanat has loved dancing since she was young. She began learning Bharatanatyam at six and made her stage debut at fifteen with an Arangetram performance in Delhi.

• Amanat volunteered at CanKids KidsCan, an NGO in New Delhi, from January 2015 to December 2016. There, she taught and provided psychotherapy to children.

• She interned in public relations at Izzhaar by Core Designs in New Delhi from January 2015 to June 2020.

• From September 2016 to December 2017, she volunteered part-time at the YMCA of the USA in Greater Boston, where she taught and monitored basic science experiments to children aged 5-8 years.

• Amanat worked as a project intern at a psychological testing company named Kinetic Potential Explorers in New Delhi from June 2017 to September 2017. There, she conducted interviews with parents on sex education in India. She also led a cleanliness drive in Jonapur and participated in various social awareness drives.

• Amanat was a clinical intern at Victory Programs in Boston from June 2018 to June 2020. There, she conducted weekly assessments, created intervention plans for toddlers, and supported mothers with substance use disorders through therapy and resource assistance.

• Bansal worked part-time as an academic mentor at an NGO named Boston Partners in Education from August 2018 to December 2019. She led sessions, graded assignments, and supported students with learning disabilities.

• In January 2019, Amanat started her internship as a research assistant at Boston University’s Reinhart Lab. She studied the effects of ageing and anxiety on working memory, conducted EEG and TES experiments, and handled IRB proposals; she completed her internship in December 2020.

• In April 2023, Amanat joined Aspire Clinic in New Delhi. She researched and created patient history forms, catalogued nearly 100 patient histories, assisted in teaching psychiatric classes, and issued certificates for sex reassignment and gender reassignment surgeries; Amanat worked there till September 2023.

• In September 2023, Amanat joined the University of Oxford as a graduate research assistant. At its START Lab, she administered developmental assessments, coded participant task videos for research, and prepared presentations on research design and findings.
