Some Lesser Known Facts About Aniruddha Jatkar
- Aniruddha Jatkar is renowned for his work in the Kannada film, and TV industry. He has also worked in Marathi, Tamil, and Hindi films.
- He is the son-in-law of the legendary Kannada film actor Late Dr Vishnuvardhana, and actress Padma Shri awardee Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhan.
- Aniruddha has also been a significant part of various social, and environmental welfare initiatives, where his work is always appreciated. He always takes part in social activities going on related to the cleaning of Bangalore city, and other social concerns of the city.
- In an interview, he once revealed he had started his acting career in theatre in Dharwad, Karnataka. He moved to Bangalore, and started his film and TV career from scratch, as there was no one from his family in the film and TV.
- The debut film of Aniruddha was a big flop at the box office. But later some of his films such as Thuntata (2002), Jyeshta (2003), Neenello Nanalle (2006), Nali Naliyutha (2007), Rajasimha (2018), and Chef Chidambara (2024) did well at the box office.

- In 2019, Aniruddha bagged a TV serial Jothe Jotheyali (2019). This show had the highest TRP in its opening week and was one of the most-watched shows on Kannada television.

- In memory of the late actor Vishnuvardhan’s birth anniversary, Jatkar made a film series of six short films named ‘Smoke’, ‘Shantam Papam’, ‘Save’, ‘Vaishnava Janato’, ‘Water’, and ‘Candlelight’. All the films were not more than six minutes in duration. Jatkar wrote and directed these short film series. He discussed different social issues in each film. He released all the short films in September 2018 on the same day.
