• Anuj Chaudhary started wrestling at a young age and later won many local wrestling tournaments.

• He trained at Gorakhpur hostel and also played for India in many international competitions including the 2004 Athens Olympics.

• In February 2017, he became the National Vice President of the Bharat Gaurav Award Committee.

• In June 2019, he became the national chairman of the Sports Promotion Organization(India).

• He was transferred from Baghpat to Pratapgarh on 19 August 2019, after which he filed a petition to stay his transfer.

• He claimed that he was an advisor to the Indian wrestling team. His transfer will make it hard for him to meet with the team on a regular basis.

• In January 2023, he opened a new gym named Olympian Fitness Centre in Noida.

• He has also been featured in music videos such as ‘Jai Siya Ram’ by Shivam Chaurasia in 2020.
