• Request to overrule the 2020 presidential election In December 2020, she supported Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s request to the U.S. Supreme Court to overrule presidential election results of four states, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin where Donald Trump had lost to Joe Biden and allow the legislatures of these states to decide the outcome. Her stance was criticised by Florida’s commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Nicki Fried and former Hillsborough Chief Judge Manuel Menendez Jr.
