• Canaan James Hill was raised in a middle-class family in a small town in Dallas, Texas.

• Canaan started singing in church at a young age, around 6 years old. He also describes himself as a “churchy kid.’

• He grew up surrounded by music, drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, including classic rock and modern pop. Both of his parents were musicians, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion. As a result, Canaan learned to play several instruments, including the guitar and piano, which deepened his love for music.
