• Chelsee Healey grew up in Eccles, Manchester.

• Her father passed away when she was just five years old. Chelsee, along with her family, was on a holiday in Ibiza, when her father fell ill with pancreatitis and a few days later, he died.

• Chelsee’s father was of a Jamaican origin and her mother is white British.

• She was inclined towards acting from a young age and at the age of 10, she joined the theatre school Laine Management to polish her acting skills.

• Chelsee was diagnosed with dyslexia while she was in college.

• In 2003, when she was just 15 years old, Chelsee made her acting debut with the BBC Three drama Burn It in which she played the recurring role of Katie Moore.

• She then played small roles in the TV series Conviction (2004), Doctors (2004), and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (2005).

• In 2006, she got her big break on the BBC school-based drama series Waterloo Road as Janeece Bryant. She played the role for three years and then took a brief break in 2009 at the end of the programme’s fourth series. She returned to the programme as the new school secretary in series six in 2010.

• She played the role of Honey Wright in the BBC One medical drama series Casualty (2014-2015).

• In November 2016, Chelsee bagged the role of Goldie McQueen in the British soap opera Hollyoaks. A few months later, she announced her pregnancy and took a maternity leave from Hollyoaks when she was 7 months pregnant.

• She returned to work two months after giving birth to her daughter and made a guest appearance on the soap opera Hollyoaks.

• Interestingly, she is just 9 years older than Theo Graham and 10 years older than Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who played her sons on Hollyoaks.

• Apart from television dramas, Chelsee has participated in various reality TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing (2011), Get Your Act Together (2015) and Bear Grylls: Mission Survive (2016).

• In the reality TV show Strictly Come Dancing (2011), she was partnered with Pasha Kovalev and the two emerged as the first runner-up of the show. They were the first couple to receive a perfect 40 from the judges on the ninth series of the show.

• In 2019, she appeared as a cast member in the dating reality TV series Celebs Go Dating.

• In 2022, Healey appeared as a contestant in the Australian talent show The Real Dirty Dancing.

• She then participated in the British dance reality TV show Dancing on Ice (2025). She was paired with Andy Buchanan in the show.

• Chelsee was in an on-off relationship with Jack Molloy since 2014. The two were introduced to each other by a mutual friend Tulisa. Her ex-boyfriend was convicted of several offences including dangerous driving and cannabis production. They parted ways after Jack had to serve four months sentence in 2016. However, they later got back together. Once, in an interview, while talking about Jack, Chelsee said,
  

  Everybody makes mistakes. He learned the hard way. But I’m glad he did.”

• Chelsee relieved her first child via emergency Caesarean section.

• In an interview, while talking about her second pregnancy, Chelsee said that she was in a shock as the pregnancy was unplanned.
