In May 2020, she faced legal charges for carrying recreational drugs including Marijuana and paraphernalia in Maryland, U.S. In July 2021, she was issued a bench warrant as she did not appear at the court hearing for the same case and as of June 2024, the bench warrant was still active.
• Arrested for stealing car
In February 2022, Chrisean Rock was arrested in a stolen car which belonged to the American rapper Blueface. At the time of arrest, she was charged with two felonies for stealing car and possession of drugs including crack cocaine and HipHopDX with intent to distribution. She was sentenced to four years on probation and 120 hours of community service after she plead guilty to all the charges in March 2023. She was given time till September 2023 to finish her community service hours. On 23 February 2024, the Oklahoma District Attorney requested the courts to put rock in an Oklahoma jail for 30 days as she had not completed her punishment of community service. On 5 MArch 2024, through an Instragram live session, Rock announced that she did not have any plans to surrender or to go jail as she did not have any time because she has to raise her son. On 27 April 2024, she was listed as a fugitive on the Oklahoma Department of Corrections website.
• Charges of Trespassing
Malone faced charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing in the third degree in Arizona in August 2022; however, later, the trespassing charges were dismissed.
• Allegations of Assault during the filming of Baddies
In 2023, while shooting for the American reality television series Baddies, a co-star of Rock pressed charges against her for physical Assault. According to her co-star, the incident happened because she liked various tweets that offended Rock. Rock was Malone was charged with assault in the second degree. On 26 October 2023, Rock’s former hairstylist during the filming of the show, Irby Lashala, also filed charges against Malone for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She claimed that Rock punched her on face.
• Allegations of physical Assault during a concert
In November 2023,Malone attended American singer Tamar Braton’s concert where she faced allegations of assaulting a assaulted a backup singer named James Wright Chanel. Later, James also filed a civil suit against Rock for injuries sustained during the assault. She was also charged with two misdemeanor offenses, assault with a deadly weapon, and battery.
• A civil suit
A civil suit was filed against Malone for intentional bodily injury, property damage, and wrongful death. The complaint was filed by the American actress Rama Montakhabi due to an incident that occurred at the BET Awards after party in 2023.
