• She started a relationship and got engaged to Alfonso D’Apice when she was 12 years old.

• In June 2024, she entered the ‘Miss Italia’ contest and won the title of Miss Provincia di Salerno (Miss Province of Salerno).

• They entered the Italian show, ‘Temptaion Island’ (2024) after Federica applied to participate in the program to help Alfonso understand her need for freedom.

• She claimed in an interview that once she went to Rome alone for a course and later found that Alfonso had followed her to the hotel she was staying in the middle of the night because of his jealousy.

• During the first episode of the show, Federica burst into tears and claimed that Alfonso tries to control everything in her life including her dress choices. Talking about her lack of friends to share her thoughts with because of Alfonso, she said,
  

  If we argue I can’t call anyone, because of him I don’t have any friends. I can only talk to him or my mother . He made me feel guilty even if I went out for work.”

• He further claimed that they broke up after Federica worried that her boyfriend, Stefano Tediosi might find out about their relationship as she had become famous after appearing on the Italian TV show, ‘Temptation Island’ (2024) and was photographed with Antonio Fico in his car.

• Giovanni De Rosa, a fellow contestant of Federica Petagna on the show, Temptation Island (2024) too came forward in November 2024 to claim that Federica dated him for a while while being in a relationship with Antonio Fico and Stefano Tediosi at the same time.
