Lawsuit by a fitness store
In 2017, a local fitness brand store filed a lawsuit worth R$260,000 against her for taking money and not fulfilling the contract terms and conditions. It included wearing the brand t-shirt and promoting the brand on social media.
Accused of using fake weights
In June 2017, she uploaded a video on YouTube in which she did 10 reps for 495 lbs (224 kgs) in a squat. But many analysts questioned that all the reps were did without using any support or belt. Many bodybuilding enthusiasts started trolling her and accused her of using fake weights to boost up her social media presence. She replied to the people that she didn’t usually clarify but those who didn’t know anything about her should not comment bad on her workouts.
Lawsuit for not paying the hospital bill
On 23 December 2018, she was hospitalized at the Hospital São Camilo in Rio de Janeiro, but the hospital filed a lawsuit in 2020 claiming that she hadn’t paid the pending bill of R$2500. She presented a bill in the court claiming that she had filled the bill, but it was not accepted. In May 2022, Judge Álvaro Luiz Valery Mirra ordered Gracyanne Barbosa and her husband to pay R$2959.22 bill. They were also given an option to contest the judgement if they wanted.
Rumors of affair with Adriano
After she split from her husband Belo in April 2024, rumors spread that she was cheating on him with the Brazilian soccer legend Adriano, but she denied those rumors.
