  • In the beginning, her mother told her that she needed a walker because she suffers from muscular dystrophy, a group of diseases that cause weakness and muscle loss over time.
  • She would often take Gypsy-Rose to hospitals and get her treated for various diseases by lying to the doctors and showing fake diagnosis reports.
  • Often, when the doctors informed her of the wrong diagnosis of Gypsy-Rose, she would lash out and take her to another hospital.
