  • India Oxenberg began her career as a child actress, with small roles in film and television projects that her mother Catherine Oxenberg and her stepfather Casper Van Dien were involved in.
  • In 2002, she was cast in the American science fiction film titled ‘The Vector File’ in which she played the character of Mattie.
  • In 2005, she became part of the American TV series titled ‘I Married a Princess’ which was based on the married life of India’s mother Catherine Oxenberg and her second husband Casper Van Dien.
  • In 2008, India Oxenberg was presented to society at ‘Le Bal des débutantes’ which is a debutante ball and fashion event held annually in November in Hôtel de Crillon, Paris.

  • She suffered from various body illnesses in the cult and later, Cannabis helped improve her appetite after struggling with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia that was developed by her due to the starvation diets in the cult.
  • Soon after leaving NXIVM, India Oxenberg started working at a restaurant in New York City as a manager and that is where she met chef Patrick D’Ignazio for the first time. They started dating and got engaged in 2019.
