Named as accused in several bomb blasts
Indresh Kumar was named as an accused in the twin Malegaon blasts in 2006 and 2008, the Samjhauta Express blast in 2007, Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad in 2007, and Ajmer blast case in 2007. He was questioned by CBI in relation to both the cases but he was later given clean chit by the courts. While Congress and other left-wing organisations claimed that he was a mentor of the group which carried out the blasts, he maintained his innocence throughout the investigation and claimed that it was an attempt to defame RSS through him and a conspiracy was planned by some politicians to take revenge from him.
Political comment after 2024 Lok Sabha elections
