- Jack Carter was born four days before his parents’ first wedding anniversary in 1947.
- He grew up in Plains, Georgia.
- Jack started working at his father’s peanut farm warehouse during winter when he was young. He used to get just 10 cents for an hour initially.
- When Carter started college in 1965, he had a tough time.
- In April 1968, Jack joined the United States Navy, encouraged by his father. He served on the USS Grapple (ARS-7) during the Vietnam War.
- In late 1970, Jack Carter was given a general discharge after he was caught smoking marijuana with his 53 classmates at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
- After serving in the military, Carter graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Later, he started studying at the University of Georgia School of Law.
- In 1981, Jack moved from Georgia to Chicago, USA, and worked at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). He later began working at Citibank. He moved to Nevada in 2002.
