Controversies | • In 2015, a legal dispute arose between script writer Jyoti Kapoor and Kunal Kohli, in that Kapoor accused Kohli of using her scipt titled “R.S.V.P” in his film “Phir Se” without her permission. She said during a conversation with Kunal Kohli she dicussed the story with Kohli. But later she found much similarities between her scirpt and his film’s story. She filed a case against him, and after eight months of legal battle in the Supreme Court of India she won the case. The court ordered Kohli to pay Rs 25 Lakh in compensation and credit to Jyoti Kapoor for the story idea. |
