• Manchu Manoj started acting as a child actor in the Telugu film industry, mostly playing the main character’s childhood.

• Some of his early films are Punya Bhoomi Naa Desam (1994) as Bharath, Peddarayudu (1995), Adavilo Anna (1997) as Manoj, and Khaidi Garu (1998) as Raju.

• After completing his education, he returned to acting as a lead actor in the Telugu film Donga Dongadi (2004) as Vasu.

• He appeared as a lead actor in several films including Prayanam (2009) as Dhruv, Bindaas (2010) as Ajay, Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda (2014) as Mohan/ Mohini, Gunturodu (2017) as Kanna, and Okkadu Migiladu (2017) as Surya.
