• Before becoming a reality TV show contestant, Mike was an automotive mechatronics engineer.

• Mike and Laura Morante had dated each other many times. They first started dating each other when they were together in school in Essen.

• Mike’s reality TV career began in 2017 when he took part in the dating show, Love Island. He reached the finals along with Chethrin Schulze and finished in third position.

• After breaking up with Chethrin Schulze, in the same year, Mike met with Elena Miras, a contestant on the show Love Island, and they got together. Later, they had a daughter in 2018. They both won the fourth season of The Summer House of the Stars – Battle of the Celebrity Couples on RTL channel in September 2019.

• Mike and Elena Miras launched their song Anker in September 2020.

• In May 2024, Mike and his girlfriend Leyla Lahouar met with a car accident when they were returning from Mike’s mom’s birthday party. They were on their way to Paderborn and were at a red light signal when a speeding car from behind hit them.
