In 2017, Linjiganj’s Nand Kishor accused Mukesh of kidnapping his wife and daughter. He further accused him of marrying his wife and bearng a daughter through her. Mukesh Rajput denied the allegations and claimed that a few political rival from the Samajwadi Party have falsely accused him to manipulate the results of the district panchayat elections.
• Allegedly threatened the power department engineer
In 2019, Pankaj Agarwal, a power department engineer accused Mukesh Rajput of not paying electricity bill of nearly Rs. 6 lakhs and threatened him for refusing to give no dues certificate without payment. Pankaj Agarwal wrote a letter to the District Magistrate (DM) informing him about the situation and asking for security. Mukesh Rajput denied the allegations and claimed that he didn’t threaten the engineer but had asked him to correct the bill.
• Injured in an altercation outside Parliament
On 19 December 2024, he was admitted to the to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi, as he had sustained injuries on his head and suffered from high blood pressure due to an altercation with the opposition party. In an interview, he accused opposition leader Rahul Gandhi for pushing BJP members while entering inside the Parliament House which resulted in his injury.
