• Stampede in Hathras
On 2 July 2024, Narayan Sakar Hari’s satsang was organised at Rati Bhanpur village, Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh. At the event, more than 2 lakh people had gathered. After the satsang, while he was stepping out of the pandal (place where event was organised), people started taking his feet’s soil to apply on their forehead as a mark of blessing. Within a few seconds, more and more people started running towards him to touch the soil of his feet which created a situation of stampede. Narayan Sakar Hari’s commando tried to push the crowd away and escorted Narayan to his car. People also slipped off the mud as it was slippery after the rain. In the stampede, more than 121 died and hundreds of people were injured. Reportedly, after the incident, Narayan Sakar absconded. [1]NDTV
