Charged with Running a Cult-Like Group
In June 2025, Federal prosecutors charged Nicole Daedone and former sales head Rachel Cherwitz with running a cult-like group that forced people into unpaid labor and sex acts. Reportedly, they made employees and volunteers go into debt to join expensive courses and claimed that the classes would heal sexual trauma. Prosecutors said that the members were watched in shared homes, told to have sex for “freedom,” and sometimes forced to sleep with investors and clients. Some were members were told to open new credit cards to pay for the programs.
