  • His father was an Indian Air Force Officer.
  • After completing his electrical engineering, Nikesh worked at Wipro for a short period, where he had to sell the minicomputers made by Wipro to the government.
  • In 1990, he went to the US to attend a business school. He took one suitcase and $3000 for this and graduated as the topper of his batch at Northeastern University.
  • Nikesh’s career began in 1992 when he joined ‘Fidelity Investments.’ He held various roles related to finance and technology management in this company. He later became the Vice President of Fidelity Technologies and worked for ‘Putnam Investments.’
