Some Lesser Known Facts About Petar Slišković

Petar shifted to Germany from Croatia in 2007. In Germany, he joined FSV Frankfurt U17 side and played there for a season before signing for FSV Mainz U19.

In 2010 Petar was promoted to Mainz’s second team and finally to the senior team in January 2011 where he played under the coach Thomas Tuchel.

Petar played seven competitive matches for the Croatian U-21 national team between 2010 and 2011.

On 31 August 2011, Slišković was loaned to second division side St. Pauli. A year later he joined Dynamo Dresden on a season-long loan. He returned to Mainz six months early in January 2013.

Slišković moved to Indian Super League club Chennaiyin FC on a one-year deal in July 2022. He made his debut for the club on 20 August 2022 against Army Red in the Durand Cup; the match ended in a 2–2 draw.

Petar scored his first goal for the club Chennaiyin FC on 1 September 2022 against TRAU in the Durand Cup; he scored two goals in the match and helped his team win the match 4-1.

On 19 May 2023, Petar moved to another Indian Super League club Jamshedpur FC on a free transfer.

Petar made headlines when he was seen with the Bollywood actress Neha Sharma outside a posh restaurant in Mumbai. The rumours of them dating each other began to spread when on their exit from the restaurant Petar was seen holding Neha close with his arm tightly wrapped around her.
