Political Backlash on a Domestic Violence Complaint: On 21 April 2015, Rakhi found herself in a controversy when her sister-in-law Priyanka filed a domestic violence complaint against Rakhi’s brother Vikram. The complaint, which alleged physical assault, was withdrawn the following day led to political backlash.
