- She began her sporting journey in 2007 and started her professional career in Jiu-Jitsu around 2015.
- Beyond being an athlete, Rohini served administrative roles, she was reportedly the General Secretary of the Jiu-Jitsu Association of Madhya Pradesh and the Women’s Athlete Commissioner of the Jiu-Jitsu Association of India.
- She worked as a martial-arts coach at a private school in Ashta (Sehore district), Madhya Pradesh.
- Her family alleged that she faced harassment at her job as a coach her sister mentioned the school principal and faculty were troubling her.
- According to her father, Rohini had rejected multiple marriage proposals in favour of focusing on her sport and service aspirations.
- She represented India at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. Rohini competed in women’s 52kg category.
- In 2022 Birmingham, she became the only Indian selected for the World Games in Ju Jitsu, a noteworthy milestone for an Indian female athlete in Jiu-Jitsu.
