• He started playing cricket during his school days with his family and friends.
• When he was 13-14 years old, he went to Lucknow to play in a school cricket tournament. There, a coach based in Delhi told Singh’s sports teacher that he played well.
• Hence, he left his village and came to Delhi, where he started cricket training at the Sonet Cricket Club under coach Tariq around 2010.
• He later started training under Harish sir and played tournaments for the collage group.
• Later, Singh gave trials for Delhi Capitals, which went well; however, they refused to select him as he hasn’t played any domestic cricket.
• Paras Dogra and Shivam Singh later went to Pondicherry and played in the Chennai Cricket League. The club didn’t want to select him, but they did on Dogra’s insistence.
