He started playing cricket during his school days with his family and friends.
When he was 13-14 years old, he went to Lucknow to play in a school cricket tournament. There, a coach based in Delhi told Singh’s sports teacher that he played well.
Hence, he left his village and came to Delhi, where he started cricket training at the Sonet Cricket Club under coach Tariq around 2010.
He later started training under Harish sir and played tournaments for the collage group.
Later, Singh gave trials for Delhi Capitals, which went well; however, they refused to select him as he hasn’t played any domestic cricket.
Paras Dogra and Shivam Singh later went to Pondicherry and played in the Chennai Cricket League. The club didn’t want to select him, but they did on Dogra’s insistence.
