- Suhas has received formal training in classical music and has successfully passed four (Madhyama) examinations at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, showcasing a strong foundation in music education.
- In her college days, Suhas participated in 4 to 5 plays for the theatre group at her college, sparking her interest in theatre and acting.
- Suhas was not interested in working in a bank or pursuing any other job. Instead, she went to Delhi to study acting and completed a 3-year Diploma in acting under Mr. E. Alkazi.
- Suhas has performed a monologue play based on the autobiography of Lakshmibai Tilak, the wife of Narayan Waman Tilak, titled Smriti Chitre. It being a monologue play, Suhas had to work out 3-4 different voices, including that of male characters.
- Other critically acclaimed plays in which Suhas has acted are ‘Gharoghari’, ‘Doctor tumhi suddha’, ‘Natsamrat’, ‘Agnipankh’, ‘Ekach Pyala’, ‘Kanyadan’, ‘Sakkheshejari’, ‘Barrister’, Anandi Gopal’, ‘Prema tuza ranga kasa’.
- Although Suhas made her debut in 1988, her favourite character is ‘Usha Date’ from the Marathi movie ‘Tu Tithe Me’ because she felt that this character was a challenging role.
