• In 1983, when Sujitha made her TV debut with the Tamil film titled ‘Abbhas,’ she was only 41 days old and played the character of granddaughter of K. R. Vijaya.

• In the same year, she was cast in the Tamil romantic comedy film titled ‘Mundhanai Mudichu’ in which she played the character of Raja (Vaathiyar’s son). Sujitha was just 6 months old when she was cast in this film.
