Drunk Driving Allegations: On 31 May 2018, Sunita stirred a controversy after a video of her at a car accident scene went viral. People accused her of drunk driving and abused her. However, Sunita later clarified that she was not driving and did not even know how to drive. She explained that she was asleep in the backseat while her driver, who was also sober, was behind the wheel. When the accident happened, she was shocked and could not respond because she did not understand Tamil well. This made people think she was not saying anything because she was drunk. |
