• Sunny Malton grew up in Malton in Mississauga, Canada.

• After completing his education, he worked at Canadian Tire, a retail company, before starting his music career.

• In 2016, Sunny Malton released a diss track called “Jus Remain Humble Doe” on the beat from “Fire Squad” by J Cole. In the song, he targeted Fateh, Jus Reign, Lilly Singh, and Humble the Poet. He included a line in the song for Fateh: “He fake with that beard, Rick Ross.”

• In August 2017, Sidhu Moose Wala and Byg Byrd released the song “So High,” which became his most successful track.   The clowns don’t care about what’s right or wrong, all they’re hoping for is one song with Sidhu.. the shit you dreaming bout, we did in reality.”

• Later, Sunny Malton leaked some private message screenshots on social media, where Kahlon asked for work. This led Kahlon to release an EP titled “Sunny Milton,” filled with diss tracks aimed at Sunny Malton.

• A fight between Moose Wala and Sunny Malton, Byg Byrd, and BigBoiDeep started after the release of the album ‘Brown Boys Forever’ in August 2019. Byrd and Malton claimed on Instagram that Moose Wala was not paying them and was leaking their songs.
