  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 3 1/2-to 4-pound chicken, cut up
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons gin (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons salt


Step 1: First of all, you need to remove and discard the skin from the chicken.

Step 2: In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the chicken, garlic, buttermilk, and gin .
